Forget old-fashioned ‘terries’ and ‘pins’
Funky washable cloth nappies are the latest in baby fashion. They're trendy and cute, cheap and green, and they're so trendy that stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin use them for their babies.
But most important, they work, and they're easy to use.
So go cloth!

Cloth nappies are NOTHING like the old days.
- No more stinky soaking!
A bucket and mesh are all you need.
Just 'dry-pail' with lavender oil. - No more boil washes!
Shove in the washing machine at 40 or 60 degrees. - No more sweaty plastic pants!
High-tech, breathable waterproof fabrics and funky designs. - No more fiddly terry squares or pins!
Modern nappies are cut to shape, with poppers or Velcro-like fastenings. - No more landfill, no more heavy bins!
Many experts say cloth is much greener. - No more expensive disposables!
From birth to potty, using cloth saves at least £600!*

It's a revelation... so join the revolution.
Nappucino 2008
Tue, 07/03/2007 - 9:17amWe celebrated Cloth Nappy Week with a coffee morning at Armley Early Years Centre, on Chapel Lane, Armley. It was great - we met several people who already use cloth nappies but wanted to see what else was available. And a couple of parents were interested in switching. Thanks to the busy helpers! We're going to try to organise these a bit more frequently, as there seems to be interest in somewhere for cloth-users to get together. There was a nice long quote (21 April) from Tamsin in the Yorkshire Evening Post's feature about cloth nappies. And they gave our Nappucino a plug too, so thanks YEP.
Terrapins is a not-for-profit group, run by volunteers.
Our aim is simple: to boost awareness about - and the use of - cloth nappies in West Leeds.
You can ask us for advice, see samples and try nappies for free. We've even helped a whole nursery 'go cloth'.
